Forged and hand ground carbon steel with rosewood handles. These are from old unused stock at the the A Wright works in Sheffield England and were old stock in 1996 when Michael Harrison started at A Wright. These are a great example of old style Sheffield craft which like other old knife making towns relied on the combined efforts of many separate dedicated craftspeople. These were finished ground and handled at A Wright with forging being done offsite in Sheffield.
The A. Wright & Son company was established in 1947, and is now a father and son team dedicated to traditional style knife production in their
Sheffield workshop mainly focusing on folding knives and old style fixed blade knives.
